The best things to do at Fort Mahon Plage

Nested between the Baie de Somme and the Baie d'Authie, Fort-Mahon-Plage offers a wide choice of sporting and fun activities that will delight young and old alike. Here are our ideas!

Discover the 20 kilometres of fine sandy beach at Marquenterre. During their stay at a campsite near Fort-Mahon-Plage, children can take a sailing course and discover catamaran sailing, while parents can enjoy the thrill of a sand yacht. Another not-to-be-missed activity is wave-skiing, ideal for discovering the thrill of gliding through the waves. You can also hire a sea kayak at the Fort-Mahon nautical base and sail along the coast.

Riding enthusiasts will love the horseback rides on Fort-Mahon beach. An emblem of Picardy, the Henson is the horse of the Bay of the Somme. For golfers, the Golf de Belle Dune is one of the most beautiful golf courses in France, offering hours of superb play in an exceptional setting. Fort-Mahon is also great for cycling along the cycle path to the Pointe du Hourdel.
