Yes, most of the time, a snack bar, bar or restaurant is open in season, allowing you to eat in for lunch and/or dinner, on the spot or to take away.

Can we order bread and pastries in the morning?

Yes, a bread and pastry drop-off service is often available in season. Orders can be placed the day before for the following day.

Does the campsite offer bike hire?

Yes, many campsites near Cayeux-sur-Mer offer bike hire (adults, children, baby seats). It’s the ideal way to make the most of the coastal cycle paths.

Is there a launderette on site?

Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?

Charcoal barbecues are permitted.

Do you offer baby services (cot, high chair, bathtub)?

Yes, it’s often possible to rent a baby kit (cot, high chair, bathtub) by prior arrangement, subject to availability and extra charge.

How do I book a camping holiday?

Reservations can be made online, by phone or e-mail. A deposit may be required.

How much does a camping holiday in Loire-Atlantique cost?

Prices vary according to season, duration and type of accommodation. Special offers are available.

When is the campsite open?

Open from 01/04 to 01/11, with extra services in high season.

Can we come for a weekend or a short stay?

Yes, out of high season and sometimes even in summer, depending on availability.

Do you offer long-term stays or seasonal deals?

Yes, depending on the period: long-term packages, residential packages or special offers.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Details are given at the time of booking. Cancellation insurance is often recommended.

Do I need to pay a deposit to reserve?

Yes, a deposit is usually required to confirm a reservation. The amount and payment terms are specified at the time of booking or in the general terms and conditions.

Can I pay in instalments?

Depending on the campsite’s policy, payment can be made in instalments: deposit on booking, then balance a few weeks before arrival or on arrival.

What payment methods are accepted (credit cards, vacation vouchers, cash, bank transfers)?

Most campsites accept credit cards, ANCV vacation vouchers and sometimes bank transfers. Cash is generally accepted on site for small amounts.

Can I arrive outside reception opening hours?

In the event of late arrival, arrangements can often be made with reception (key box, access code, etc.). It is important to inform the campsite in advance.

Are arrivals possible on any day of the week?

In low and mid-season, arrivals are often possible every day. In high season, some accommodations may offer special arrival times (e.g. Saturday or Sunday).

What are the check-in and check-out times?

In general, arrivals are from 4pm for rentals and 2pm for pitches, and departures before 10am for rentals and 11am for pitches. Exact times are indicated in the booking confirmation.

The campsite is just 4 km from the beach at Cayeux sur Mer, accessible by bike and on foot.

Is the campsite accessible by motorhome?

Yes, Les Galets de La Mollières welcomes motorhomes on specially adapted pitches, including a dumping area, water and electricity. The location is ideal for touring the entire Baie de Somme coastline.

Is the campsite easy to reach by car or camper van?

Yes, the campsite is easily accessible by road. It is located close to the main roads leading to Cayeux-sur-Mer, with clear signs on the approach. Motorhomes can maneuver and access pitches without difficulty.

Is there free on-site parking?

Yes, parking is possible on site. Most of the time, parking is free and a parking space is provided either on the plot or in a parking lot at the campsite entrance.

Can I walk or cycle to the beach from the campsite?

Depending on the exact location of the campsite, you can reach the beach on foot or by bike using the paths and cycle tracks. Journey times generally vary between 5 and 20 minutes.

Wi-Fi access is available at a charge, in the communal area or throughout the campsite, depending on the facilities.

Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?

PRM facilities can be offered: toilets, accommodation, access ramps, etc. to be confirmed according to actual equipment.

Are mobile homes equipped with air conditioning?

No air-conditioning.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Can I park my car next to my accommodation?

Yes, in most cases a parking space is provided on the pitch, right next to the mobile home or tent. If this is not possible, a nearby parking lot is available.

Is it possible to choose a location in advance?

Whenever possible, the campsite will try to accommodate your preferences (shady, close to the pool, quiet…). We recommend that you specify this when booking. Allocation is subject to availability.

Are homes heated at the beginning or end of the season?

Yes, most mobile homes are equipped with heating, so you can stay comfortably in the early and late seasons when the evenings are cooler.

What activities are available around the campsite?

Numerous possibilities: beaches, water sports, cycling, fishing, sightseeing

When is the best time to stay in the Baie de Somme?

May to September to enjoy the climate and the sea. Spring and autumn offer peace and quiet and attractive rates.

Are there bike paths near the campsite?

Yes, the Cayeux-sur-Mer area is well-equipped with cycle paths, enabling you to follow the coastline and reach the beaches and neighboring towns in complete safety.

What to do with children in Cayeux-sur-Mer

Beach games, kids’ clubs, playgrounds, bike rides, leisure parks, mini-golf, summer entertainment… There are plenty of family activities on offer in and around the resort.

Are there water sports nearby?

Yes, it’s possible to sail, paddle, surf, kite-surf or kayak, thanks to the nautical schools and bases in Cayeux-sur-Mer and the surrounding coastline.

Are there any local markets or events in summer?

Practical everyday questions

What time does the pool open and close?

Pool opening times are usually indicated at the pool entrance and in the welcome booklet. In season, the pool is often open from morning until late afternoon or early evening.

Does the campsite have an emptying area for motorhomes?

Yes, a grey and black water discharge area is often available for motorhomes, with access to drinking water.

Are showers always hot?

Yes, the sanitary blocks are equipped with hot-water showers, accessible during campsite opening hours or continuously, depending on the organization.

Can I receive visitors during my stay?

Yes, visitors are generally allowed under certain conditions (declaration to reception, opening hours, possible extra charge for access to the pool or facilities).

Are there any rules about noise or barbecues?

Yes, there are rules and regulations governing quiet hours, barbecues, vehicle traffic, etc. These are handed out or posted on arrival to ensure that holidaymakers live together in harmony.

Does the campsite offer a breakdown or assistance service?

Campsite staff can help with minor problems (information, professional contacts, advice). For emergencies, useful numbers are usually posted.

Does the campsite accept ANCV vacation vouchers?

Most campsites accept ANCV vacation vouchers to pay for all or part of your stay. This information is confirmed at the time of booking.

What accommodation is available for my dates?

Availabilities can be consulted in real time on the online booking module, or on request by telephone or e-mail from reception.

Can I bring two vehicles?

Depending on pitch and campsite capacity, only one vehicle may be included per pitch. A second vehicle may sometimes be accepted at extra cost, in a dedicated parking area.

What documents do I need to present on arrival?

In general: ID, booking confirmation, any discount vouchers, and means of payment for the balance or deposit (cheque, credit card, bank imprint).

Is the campsite open during May bank holidays?

Many campsites open in the spring and are open for the long weekends in May. Precise opening dates are indicated on the campsite website.
